The city info window can be opened by clicking the town hall with the inspection tool.
The townhall is the building south of the town name sign, in the screenshot above marked with a red rectangle.
The city info window allows to rename the town. Just click the text input field displaying the city name and enter a new name there.
The window also displays the town size, and the most desired destinations to travel to.
The town size is a rough measurement how many inhabitants may live in this town. The actual number of inhabitants may differ, i.e. if several buildings had been built or teared down recently, but it is roughly 20 times the town size.
The desired destinations are shown for last month and the current month. The are displayed as yellow dots on the small maps. The denser the dots the more inhabitants want to travel to that location. You can use this iformation to plan your passenger service.
Some locations like industries and tourist attractions appear only as single yellow dots, that is because they are pretty small on the map. Nevertheless you should consider servicing them too, because usually many people wnat to go there, even if there is only one dot for all of them displayed. In fact there are many dots, but all on the same spot.
Below the world mini maps, the number of potential passengers and the number of actually serviced passengers are given. Those numbers are updated daily.
