Simutrans Manual - The factory info window

The factory info window contains some information about the stored goods and/or materials. It also contains some informations about the productivity of this factory and the home towns of the workers. As an example, this image displays the info window of an iron foundry.

• The statement "Private property" denotes that this building can not be removed by the remove/destroy tool. The owner just doesn't allow this.
• The next line gives the name of the thing, it's an "iron foundry".
• If available, a list of consumers for the products of this factory is shown next. Each entry is preceeded with a small button that centers the map view on this consumer if pressed. This allows swift and easy navigation between the factory and its consumers.
• Next, a list of the factory workers home towns is shown. The movement buttons work just like the buttons from the consumers list.
• Below this, the storage capacity and productvity of this industry are displayed:
  It has currently stored 0t of a maximum of 400t of steel. If the 400t should be reached, no more steel will be produced, due to the lack of storage capacity.
• If a factory like this iron foundry consumes some raw materials or intermediate products, some more information is dipslayed in the factory info window:
  The iron foundry consumes iron ore and coal, both can be stored up to 450t each. Currently the storage of iron ore and coal is both 0t of 450t. To produce one ton of steel 2.0 tons of iron ore and 0.5 tons of coal are required.
